Weather Service issues Level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms today

VAAL TRIANGLE - The South African Weather Service has issued a yellow level two warning for severe thunderstorms across Gauteng, North West, Free State, Mpumalanga, and Limpopo today. The storms are expected to bring small hail, damaging winds, and excessive lightning. Flooding is also a concern, particularly in informal settlements and low-lying roads. Gauteng has already experienced thunderstorms in recent days, and residents are urged to take precautions.
