Vanderbijlpark SAPS searching for 51-year-old man missing since June

VANDERBIJLPARK - The Vanderbijlpark SAPS is searching for a 51-year-old man who has been missing since June this year. Police spokesperson, Sergeant Sabelo Sigcu, said in a statement sent to 90.6 FM News that Hardus van Niekerk was last seen on Thursday, 13 June 2024, when he came back from work to eat lunch at home. He headed back to work after eating lunch. Howevver, it is alleged that Van Niekerk did not go back to work as anticipated but rather left the car outside the yard of his house, with the keys inside the car. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt, a brown army jacket and brown tekkies. Sigcu pleaded with anyone who might have any information about or know the whereabouts of Van Niekerk’s disappearance to please come forward and assist them with the investigation.
