Three suspects arrested for possession of essential infrastructure tampering implements in Sasolburg

SASOLBURG - Three men, aged between 34 and 38, were arrested for possession of essential infrastructure tampering implements in Sasolburg. Vaal Journal reports, early Monday morning, around 00:30, the Fezile Dabi Infrastructure Intervention Team, Sasolburg CPF, and private security companies responded swiftly after the suspects were seen roaming the streets of Sasolburg. Upon arrival, officers identified three individuals carrying a backpack, garden spades, a pick, a saw, and gloves. Further investigation revealed an unlicensed firearm and knife on one of the suspects. Both the firearm, ammunition, and suspected tampering tools were confiscated. The suspects are currently in custody and will appear before the Sasolburg Magistrate Court soon.
