Sasol to hand over new boreholes to Deneysville and Refengkgotso community

VAAL TRIANGLE - Sasol says it will have an official handover of its Water Security project in Deneysville and Refengkgotso, Vaal Triangle, this week. Spokesperson, Elsabe Ras, said in a statement as the Sasolburg population continues to grow and demands for water escalate, ensuring a reliable and sustainable water supply becomes increasingly crucial. Ras said Sasol's mitigation strategy for sustainable water provision is through the drilling of boreholes. She said Sasol drilled boreholes at the Refengkgotso Community Centre, Sports Centre and the Deneysville Clinic to improve access to safe drinking water in the communities of Refengkgotso and Deneysville. The boreholes will officially be handed over to the Metsimaholo Local Municipality and the Free State Department of Health on June 21 at the Refengkgotso Community Hall.
