VANDERBIJLPARK - The Vanderbijlpark Campus of North-West University (NWU) has once again proven its excellence by receiving the prestigious Diamond Arrow Award for the 14th consecutive year at the annual PMR.africa Awards. The award, the highest distinction in higher education, recognizes NWU as the best higher education institution in the Sedibeng district, which includes Emfuleni, Lesedi, and Midvaal municipalities. PMR.africa, a leading South African research company, conducted a survey assessing institutions based on economic contributions, governance, innovation, and brand awareness. NWU Vanderbijlpark achieved an impressive 4.2 out of 5, surpassing its competitors. Prof Sibusiso Chalufu, acting deputy vice-chancellor, credited the achievement to the hard work of staff and students. He emphasized the university's role in academic excellence, ethical management, and community development. NWU hopes this recognition will continue to drive excellence and inspire institutions to contribute to regional growth.
