Motorists of the Vaal Triangle can expect relief as fuel prices drop this week

Writer: 90.6 FM News90.6 FM News

VAAL TRIANGLE - Motorists of the Vaal Triangle and the rest of South Africa, are set for some relief at the fuel pumps this week. Forecasts indicate cuts of between 64 cents and 78 cents per litre for petrol, while the diesel price will go down by over 90 cents per litre. The cuts are lower than expected as the oil prices rebounded and the Rand’s strength against the US Dollar tapered off. The fuel prices come into effect at midnight on Wednesday.
