VAAL TRIANGLE - The DA is urging the South African Social Security Agency to extend the SASSA gold card deadline. The party is citing ongoing challenges in the transition to Postbank black cards. Many grant recipients face difficulties switching cards, with limited collection sites and inadequate support. The DA's Alexandra Abrahams says an extension would allow SASSA to address these issues and ensure no recipient is left without their grant.
