VAALDRIEHOEK - AfriForum sê die land se slaagsyfer van 87,3% in die 2024 Nasionale Seniorsertifikaat-eksamen is 'n uitstekende prestasie, maar dit wek terselfdertyd kommer. Hy sê hy is bekommerd oor die groep leerlinge wat uit die stelsel verdwyn het voordat hulle hul matriekeksamen kon aflê. Alana Bailey van AfriForum sê die getal matrikulante wat wel matriek geskryf het, is 36% minder as dié wat in 2013 vir graad 1 ingeskryf is.
